INSET Day for “Beginners” Girl’s Field Lacrosse

We have arranged an INSET day for “beginners” girls field lacrosse.
This course is designed for new staff members with limited lacrosse
knowledge or if you are looking to start girls lacrosse in your school.

Course title “Girls Field Lacrosse – Making a Start”
Venue - Edgbaston High School
Date - 10th October.
Time - 10.30 – 3.30
Cost - £40 pp
Tutor – Martha Cornbrooks (Cheltenham Ladies College and Head Coach  Scotland Ladies)

The general outline of the course will be:

·         Setting out the game – attack and defence decision trees
·         Some terminology – transition, settled attack, settled
defence, individual skills
·         Practical – Individual skills and fun games
·         Transition theory and practice
·         Practice transition into team attack / team defence
·         Theory of team defence and team attack with simple
introductory practices
·         Summary and depart
